The mission of the Commission on Diversity at Northwestern Health Sciences University is to facilitate the development of a culturally competent University. The Diversity Commission partners with the larger University community to create an environment which fosters understanding and an appreciation for diverse opinions and ideas.
The Diversity Commission at Northwestern Health Sciences University defines Diversity and Cultural competency as follows: race/ethnicity, gender, sexuality, age, class, religion/spirituality and disabilities.
Northwestern Health Sciences University International Scholarship purposes are:
- To attract student who have demonstrated high levels of achievement, service and leadership.
- To attract students from a variety of backgrounds
- To help equalize the currency differential between the United States and Foreign countries.
Scholarship Eligibility Requirements
- Citizen (or equivalent) of a country other than the United States of America
- NOT eligible for U.S. Federal loans
- Must be making satisfactory progress during the term the scholarship is awarded
