The Asian Development Bank - Government of Japan Scholarship Program graduate degree fellowship provides support for graduate (post-baccalaureate) studies in approved fields of study at the University of Hawai’i at Manoa (UHM), and for participation in educational activities at the East-West Center (EWC).
The basic requirements for this scholarship are:
1) Two years work experience at the time of application.
2) A full 4-year bachelor’s degree at the time of application, or, the equivalent of a full 4-year bachelor’s degree; (an equivalent of a full 4-year bachelor’s degree could be a 3-year bachelor’s degree plus a 1-year master’s degree, or a 2-year bachelor’s degree plus a 2-year master’s degree, subject to review).
The Embassy of Japan has begun offering scholarships to Indonesian students who wish to study at Japanese universities as research students for the academic year 2008 under the Japanese Government (Monbukagakusho) scholarship program. Any grantee who desires to enroll in a regular graduate course (a master’s course, a doctoral course or a professional graduate course) after studying as a research student or to move on from a master’s course or a professional graduate course to a doctoral course must pass an entrance examination given by the university concerned.
The World Bank annually awards five scholarships to the PPT program. The first level of screening of candidates will be done at Yokohama National University. The final decision regarding scholarship recipients will be made by the World Bank.
The scholarship covers a monthly allowance of JPY172,000 (pending budget proposal), and a round-trip air ticket to Japan plus a travel allowance of JPY60,000. The monthly stipend is intended to cover living, commuting and other incidental expenses during the student’s study period. The next scholarship program runs from April 2008 to March 2010. This cannot be changed under any circumstances. In addition, the scholarship covers tuition, entrance examination and admission fees. Travel expenses for some program-sponsored field trips are also included.
Beasiswa ini diberikan oleh INPEX Foundation, sebuah organisasi nonprofit yang didirikan di Tokyo, Jepang dibawah ijin dari Kementrian pendidikan Jepang. Dana Inpex Foundation berasal dari Indonesia Petroleum, Ltd.,Tokyo. Beasiswa ini hanya untuk melanjutkan program S2 di Universitas Jepang.
Persyaratan :
(1). Warga negara Indonesia yang telah menyelesaikan program S1-nya di Indonesia. Bidang studi Natural Science. Dan usia tidak lebih dari 30 tahun saat apply beasiswa ini.
(2). Bermaksud melanjutkan S2 di Universitas Jepang dengan bidang studi Natural Science, dan telah mendapat surat ijin masuk ke Universitas Jepang atau akan bermaksud masuk ke Universitas Jepang.
(3). Mempunyai prestasi yang bagus selama S1 dan sehat jasmani, rohani.
(4). Telah mendapat ijin/persetujuan dari atasan (buat institusi/company) dan ijin dari rektorat (bagi universitas) untuk mengikuti seleksi beasiswa Inpex.
(5). Mereka yang interest untuk meningkatkan hubungan kerja sama antara Indonesia dan Jepang.
(6). Tidak mendapat beasiswa dari manapun.
Fujitsu Asia Pacific Scholarship (Fujitsu Scholarship) Program, sponsored by Fujitsu Limited, provides financial assistance for postgraduate education and cross-cultural management training to participants from the Asia-Pacific region. Fujitsu Limited, an international leader in information technology, telecommunications, semiconductors and electronics that is headquartered in Tokyo, established the Fujitsu Scholarship to commemorate its 50th anniversary in 1985.
