Mesothelioma Memorial Scholarships

Established in 2003, the $500 Mesothelioma Memorial Scholarships are offered four times per year to honor the thousands of people who have died from mesothelioma due to exposure to asbestos, as well as the thousands of patients who are newly diagnosed with the disease ever year.

We offer one $500 scholarship every three months, and you can apply online now. The schedule of awards and application periods is as follows:

CIRI Foundation General Fellowship Grants

Applicant must be accepted or enrolled in a seminar or conference that is accredited, authorized, or approved by the CIRI Foundation. For special employment-related non-credit workshops or seminars. Must be Alaska Native Student, CIRI original enrollee, or descendant at least 18 years of age. Application deadlines are March 31, June 30, September 30, and December 1.

Award Grant for use in freshman, sophomore, junior, senior, graduate, or post graduate years; not renewable Amount: up to $500.

Eligibility Requirements Applicant must be age 18 and enrolled or expecting to enroll full or part-time at a two-year or four-year or technical institution or university. Applicant must have 2.5 GPA or higher.




American GI Forum of the United States Hispanic Education Foundation Matching Scholarships

Renewable scholarship of up to $1000. Not restricted to, but priority given to Hispanics. Priority may be given to veterans and their families. Please contact local American GI Forum chapters for qualifications and deadline dates.

Award Scholarship for use in freshman, sophomore, junior, senior, graduate, or post graduate years; renewable Number: 50-200. Amount: $250-$1000.

Eligibility Requirements
Applicant must be enrolled or expecting to enroll full or part-time at a two-year or four-year or technical institution or university. Available to U.S. and non-U.S. citizens.

Beasiswa Jepang Monbukagakusho 2008

The Embassy of Japan has begun offering scholarships to Indonesian students who wish to study at Japanese universities as research students for the academic year 2008 under the Japanese Government (Monbukagakusho) scholarship program. Any grantee who desires to enroll in a regular graduate course (a master’s course, a doctoral course or a professional graduate course) after studying as a research student or to move on from a master’s course or a professional graduate course to a doctoral course must pass an entrance examination given by the university concerned.
